Slow Cooker BBQ Picnic Drumsticks
Ingredients
Pine & Pepper Spices
- 6–8 lbs. Chicken drumsticks
- To season Salt & pepper
- 1⅓ cups Ketchup
- 1⅓ cups Molasses
- 4 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 4 Tbsp. Water (to mix with the Worcestershire powder)
- 2 Tbsp. Corn starch

Season the chicken. Sprinkle the drumsticks generously with salt, pepper, and a few shakes of Classic Garlic & Onion Blend.

Lay the chicken into a large slow cooker.

Make the sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the ketchup, molasses, Dijon, the Worcestershire mixture, corn starch, and Smoky Sweet BBQ Chicken Rub until smooth.

Pour the sauce over the chicken and use tongs (or your hands) to turn each drumstick so it's well coated.

Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, until the meat is very tender and pulling cleanly from the bone.

Just as good cold the next day — pack a few for your next picnic. Makes 12 to 16 servings.
