Roasted Pepper-Wrapped Goat Cheese Bites
Ingredients
- 1¼ (12 oz.) jars roasted red peppers, drained
- 1¼ (3.5 oz.) containers crumbled goat cheese
- ⅓ cup Sour cream
- 25–30 Toothpicks
Directions
-
1
In a food processor, blend the goat cheese, sour cream, Dehydrated Minced Garlic, and Italian Garden Herb Blend together until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
-
2
Trim, devein, and seed the roasted red peppers as needed.
-
3
Slice the peppers from top to bottom into ¾-inch-wide strips and pat dry on paper towels — dry strips grip the cheese and hold their shape.
-
4
To assemble, roll the cheese mixture into ¾-inch balls.
-
5
Wrap each ball with a pepper strip, joining the two ends, and slide a toothpick through the seam to hold everything in place.
-
6
Arrange the bites on a small platter, drizzle with a thread of good olive oil, and finish with a scatter of fresh herbs. Makes 25 to 30 rolls — lovely as a passed hors d’oeuvre.
